| A committee meeting of the Scottish football League at the Temperance Hotel, Argyle Street, Glasgow decided on whether or not a replay should be held. After a 5-5 vote the chairman Mr Lawrence of Dumbarton FC after consulting both clubs cast his vote against a replay. The league title was to be shared. |
